Holly is working with the Young Foundation to support the evaluation of the King’s Park Moving Together project. This project forms one of twelve Sport England local delivery pilots, whose aim is to help people to be more active in their communities across the country.

The King’s Park Moving Together project is located in a neighbourhood in Hackney, east London and is using the approach of asset-based community development to try to deliver change. The project’s aim is to improve the health and well-being of residents in the King’s Park ward of Hackney, through the agency of physical activity.

Sport England Project Evaluation

Working on the evaluation, Holly is involved in establishing the baseline data for the project and evaluating change as the project progresses. As this is a pilot project, an important element of it is process learning, and Holly has been supporting the project team to reflect on the project on their roles and consider how improvements or changes could be made for the future.
